 PRAYER
ROOM
If there is a prayer or
meditation room in your house it should be in north-east direction and an sober
setting is best : solid, calm, subdued colors, with no patterns. Subtle and deep
shades of blue, green, yellow, or red will help in encouraging deep
concentration and thoughts.
BEDROOM
The best-suited color is pink for the master bedroom being an auspicious color.
The secondary colors can be light green and light blue, being color of hope and
cultivation, can also be used in bedrooms.
Plain white sheets or white
sheets with flowers or colorful designs are fine. Pink or red sheets and
blankets are used by those who want to get married as well as by newly weds
desirous of ensuring marital bliss. Yellow is fine for the elderly. But dark
blue should be avoided as it brings gloominess.
Young children who are
students and concentration is important for them therefore, green color should
be used. Black is fine for furniture to encourage deep thoughts.
LIVING ROOM
In the living room bright colors, shades, and patterns should be used as it is
the place to entertain guests so it should be full of pleasant visual, which
help to keep the atmosphere and conversations lively and diverse. The best
colors are yellow, beige or tan, or green or blue.
DINING ROOM
The dining room,
where the family eats together and entertains, should be appetizingly colorful.
Pinks, greens, and blues are best. We should avoid black or white or a mixture
of black and white as these colors are less conducive to enjoying eating.
KITCHEN
For the kitchen, white is the best color, it show off the colors of food, as if
it were a blank canvas upon which the cook creates a meal of red tomatoes, green
peppers, yellow squash. Besides it is also the color of purity and cleanliness.
LIBRARY
The best color, however, depends on the type of books that the residents like
to read. If they prefer serious books, brown is an appropriate shade. For less
serious readers, pale blue, light green or pink are good.
BATH ROOM
The best suitable color is
white or a mixture of black & white or gray. Pink and other pastel colors are
also good.
